Stand Up Norge AS was founded in 1997.

Stand Up Norway Ltd is today the leading management, booking agency and production-company for comedy in Norway. The core business is providing comedians to corporate events and other commercial venues all over Norway. The comedians are versatile and can also be used as MCs, toastmasters, impersonators, musical entertainers and more.

Stand Up Norway Ltd is also the host of the annual Oslo Stand Up Festival. In 2009 the festival celebrates its ten years anniversary. The festival is usually located in the third week of August each year. In 2009 the festival will be held Wednesday the 19th – Saturday the 22nd of August.

Stand Up Norway Ltd also run their own venue in Oslo; Latter Theatre.

Latter Theatre opened in August 2004.

The theatre consists of three stages, a restaurant and five bars.
Main Stage: 453 seats
Club Stage: 200 seats
Open Air Stage: 220 seats

Latter Theatre is proud to present the biggest and most popular comedy shows in Norway. On the Main Stage you will find big scale productions, on the Club Stage you will find small scale productions and stand up shows and during the summer you will find small scale productions and stand up shows on the Open Air Stage. Today you can visit Latter Theatre Tuesday thru Saturday every week, often with several shows each day. Latter Theatre is also available for rental / events and is hugely popular amongst companies who wish to host customer related events, kick offs, showcases, conventions or corporate parties. Foreign producers are also welcome to present their artists at Latter Theatre.
